Faculty of Law Don wins Law Teacher of the Year Award
Dr. Jackson Bett, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, Faculty of Law won the Law Teacher of the year award at the 2021 Nairobi Legal Awards. The Nairobi Legal Award is an annual legal excellence award show organized by the Law Society of Kenya in a bid to recognize law practitioners with high standards of practice and legal service delivery towards encouraging excellence in practice.
The 2021 award show, dubbed the Phoenix Edition, was held on 26th November 2021 at Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Nairobi.
Dr. Bett was recognized for his availability and concern to students, vertical alignment and promotion of the love for learning amongst his students. He is based at the Commercial Law department where he teaches International Investments Law, International Economic Law, Regional and International Economic Institutions Law, The Law of Contracts, Banking Law, Negotiable Instruments Law, Commercial Law, Public Interest and Clinical Externships.
